Web Development Company

Tybee Web Design is a web development company located on Tybee Island near Savannah, Georgia.  Our goal is to build great websites, provide excellent service and develop a long-term partnership with our clients.  The primary web developer is Lara Robertson and she has been in the business of developing websites for over 10 years. We work with local designers and developers in the Savannah area to make sure you get the website you want as quickly as possible.  If you want a custom site - not a cookie-cutter, straight out of the box site - a site that truly represents your business, community organization, church or school, please contact us.

We Use Open Source - we specialize in using open-source products such as the award winning CMS Joomla and the fabulous  Wordpress all based on the PHP and MySQL - both open-source. Our open-source shopping cart of choice is the powerful Magento. We also use a number of independently written components and modules to further enhance your website.

Security - Our sites are as secure as possible. But, make no mistake, keeping up with security is not easy. If you have a website you must make sure you have followed all the recommendations of your host and software developer. For our managed hosting option we keep up with all the latested recommendations on security. Managing a website takes work and we have the expertise to deliver a site you will love and a site that will be as safe as possible from others.

Our design style is clean and designed for usability. Our html and css are standards-based. Our CSS skill are top-notch - no tables unless it is part of a third party solution. Your site will stand the test of time and the continual evolution of the browser.

Testing - we are a professional web development company. Our sites are thoroughly tested before going live.

Search Engine Friendly - you want others to find your site. We subscribe to the policy of creating a high quality user-friendly site. A site where the title, content and meaningful tags are used correctly so that search engines can spider and display your site correctly.
